We will be happy to entertain you as well.
We have been specializing in professional performances of various magic illusions to entertain people for more than 25 years. We are happy if our spectators are satisfied and full of great experiences. The tricks and illusions we perform should not only astonish you but they should, before all, create a pleasant atmosphere and amuse you. With almost 200 performances a year both in the Czech Republic and abroad, we have attained a lot of successes. Click here to see our successes and references.
Karel Kaspar comes from a family where performing illusions became a family tradition. He has been performing them since the age of 10. He is very skillful not only when showing the tricks but he has also designed most of his stage properties by himself. In addition to that, Karel Kaspar is also a skilful guitarist. Vanessa Kašparová has always been interested in dancing and ballet and she took dancing lessons when she was younger. These skills came in useful when creating choreography for her first performances as a magician and illusionist. She is also a gifted fashion designer and some of the costumes used by the Kaspar Magic Duo during their performances originate from her studio.
We are really good at performing big illusions which form the most complicated, most challenging but the most impressive field of magic from the audiences' point of view. They include levitation in free space, persons disappearing and reappearing or using a breathtakingly dangerous circular saw to cut a person in two.
Another field of magic we specialize in includes illusions and tricks for children. We offer performances for both pre-school children and younger school children as well as for older children.
As professionals, under the stage name of "Duo Carlos" at that time, we gave the first public performance in 1991. Immediately after it, in 1992, we won the 1st Prize in the field of "Big Illusions" at the Famous International Congress of Illusionists named "Magiáles Šari Vari" held in Carlsbad, Czech Republic.
Thanks to the winning of the Grand Prix in the "Big Illusions" Category at the official Czech Championships, we were nominated to the "World Magic Championships" held in Germany in 1997.
In order to be perfect, we cooperate with many experts who participate in making costume and stage props and who help us create the most suitable choreography. Among costume designers, we should not forget to name Martin Havlíček, Anna Petková and, last but not least, Miluška Bittnerová who has perfectly created most of our main costumes. We should also mention Otto Calavera - the main designer of our stage props and decorations and also Mikuláš Pálfy - our choreographer.
